||Day Eighteen||
Tonight was magical.
As referenced in my "Day One" blog post, tonight was the night that my friend Alayna and I (and her friend Grace since my boyfriend couldn't make it) would be going to the premiere of "The Fault in Our Stars". We were both ecstatic, what with us both being huge John Green fans, and it was everything we could have wanted it to be.
After a not-so-quick dinner at Bob Evans, we rushed to the theater (worrying that we wouldn't be able to get good seats). Thankfully, luck was on our side and we found great seats that were just far enough in the back, but also somewhat center.
Somehow I managed to make it through the whole movie without having a complete sob-fest. Though there were definitely many times where I almost couldn't breathe because I was trying to fight back tears. Then, once the movie was over, they did a live simulcast with main cast, the producer, the director, and John Green. It was a good way to lighten the mood after so many feels.
Another perk to going to the early premiere was that you got this adorable "The Fault In Our Stars" charm bracelet, which I'm personally thinking about somehow converting into a keychain since I don't really wear bracelets. But regardless, it's a neat keepsake. And then everyone got a poster, as well, which is currently hanging above my bed.
It was such a great night, and with even greater company. I am so lucky to have experienced this opportunity. I have awesome friends.
But with that, I am off to bed and ready to see what tomorrow will bring.
