||Day Fifteen||
Mondays can be rough.
And while a lot of people (myself included) can tend to turn to indulgences such as chocolate, candy, or baked goods, this usually later leads to regret.
Therefore I'm learning to reward myself, as well as cheer myself up, with small acts of retail therapy.

For today, I stopped by Walgreens and bought two of my favorite things: nail polish & candles.
I have coveted this nail polish for quite some time, but always resisted the urge to buy it due to my ever-expansive collection of nail polishes. What's one more polish anyway!
This color is called "Save The Date" from the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength collection.
Personally I love the Diamond Strength polishes. I just feel like they are very easy to apply smoothly they have a good coverage.
Now I tend to change my finger nail polish fairly frequently, partially due to wear over time but also because I like trying different colors, but I also think this color would be great for a pedicure.
It's a dark, shimmery red with just the slightest hint of purple.
I think this could easily become one of my go-to polishes.
As for the candle, this was definitely an impulse buy. But for only $2, I couldn't resist.
It's just a small candle, but it honestly has a pretty good scent throw.
I chose this candle ("Honeycrisp Apple") because:
1. Apples are my favorite fruit, and
2. It smells very similar to a Bath & Body Works candle ("Autumn", not to be confused with "Autumn Day") that is without a doubt my favorite candle.
So for me, this candle was a match made in heaven.
Not only did these small purchases make my Monday just a bit better, but they didn't cost me a single calorie of remorse!
