||Day Fourteen||
Home at last!
Though it was an amazing week spent in Florida, I am relieved to be back in my own bed, in a town I know, and with the pups I adore.
Not too long after getting back, my brother and I decided to have one last "adventure". We took the dogs on a car ride (their favorite) and then stopped by Dairy Queen for a blizzard; a sort of "welcome back" to us, if you will.
I swear, I will always have a dog. They love so unconditionally, and they are always excited to see you (whether it's been twenty minutes or twenty days). They are the perfect companion.
And sometimes, if you're really lucky and have an incredibly patient dog, they will succumb to your relentless efforts of putting them in silly hats for your own enjoyment.
Even though I am sad to see my Florida adventure come to the end, it's only the beginning of June and there are other exciting happenings just on the horizon. I can't wait.
