Seeing as how not a whole lot of excitement is going on in my life, considering my life is typically just school and work, I've been shying away from the personal posts and focusing more on just posting whatever I feel is currently interesting me.

And lately I've been very much into Bath & Body Works.

For the past year I have been religiously buying candles galore from B&BW.
It all really started with the last days of summer before I moved into my apartment.
My mom and I had gone to the mall, we stopped in B&BW, fall candles were debuting, and I fell in love. So, ever since, I have bought an insane amount of candles. But by now, I have learned how to be more resourceful with my purchases.
 So I went to B&BW today, and, once again, made out like a bandit.
Altogether I purchased 5 of the 3-wick, a full size body cream, and a travel size body spray.
Without any deals or coupons my total would have been: $131
I spent less than $57, which is about 40% of the original total.
Here's how I got such a steal.

{+} Scoped out my favorite deal -- 2 for $22 of the 3-wick candles.
This deal is amazing because originally these candles are $22.50 each. And after you buy 2 candles, B&BW will make every subsequent candle $11. Not to mention I think the 3-wicks are the best bang for your buck. The mini candles (1.3 oz) are virtually worthless to me. They're nice to try out a scent, but they don't last long for how much they cost. And the mason jar candles are adorable, but just don't fill the room enough.

{+} 20% off coupon.
This coupon in conjunction with the 2 for $22 deal is, to me, the motherlode of all deals.
I used this to buy candles not too long ago (I know, I have a serious problem), and once again I bought 5. With the 2 for $22 deal, the coupon made each candle less than $9.
A candle, which is originally $22.50 was now $9. It's no wonder I can't help myself.
But anyway, these coupons are rarely found online (at least in my experience), but as of lately they've been handing them out in booklets when you make a purchase. So if you find some, hoard them until the next 2 for $22 sale.

{+} Doubled up on coupons.
The perks of ordering B&BW online are convenience, and the occasional exclusive scent. But for the most part, I think it's worth it to just go to the store. That way you can smell everything and make sure it's what you want, save money on shipping, and (sometimes) use multiple coupons. I've never tried to use, say, a 20% off coupon AND a "10 off $30" coupon, but today I used the 20% along with a "$5 body cream" coupon. Since the body creams are usually $12.50, this was a great deal. I also just love the body creams, more so than the body lotions. But the point is, sometimes they will let you use multiple coupons so you can get multiple deals. And it's awesome.
So, if you're interested in become a candle hoarder like myself, or just already love B&BW, then you should definitely do the following.

 {Sign up for the e-mails}
I know subscribing to e-mails from anywhere can get tedious,
but to me this one is worth it. Everyday there are deals going on.
So I like to keep an eye on my inbox just in case any of my favorite
deals show up.

{Go to the store}
As I mentioned before, every time you buy something, you get a coupon.
And lately those coupons have been coupon BOOKS.
So get on that.
 {Let them put you on the mailing list}
Coupons by mail. No purchase necessary.
Need I say more?

{Make a game plan}
Maybe this is just for the obsessive, but I always like to go
to B&BW with a plan. I like to look up what I want online,
then go to the store and make sure I like everything.
Or I'll go to the store knowing that I'm only allowing myself
4 candles, or whatever. Also, then it makes it easier for you
to decide how to wisely use your coupons.
So I might have a "problem" when it comes to buying candles.
But if anything, I can guarantee you my apartment always smells amazing.
