Holy cow.
The whole month of September just seemed to fly by in a instant.
I won't type much, because there's just so much that's happened, but I will of course elaborate on pictures that need some sort of explanation.
Disclaimer: These pictures were all taken with my cell phone. They are not meant to be artsy per se (I mean I do like to be artsy), but more so just a representation of my life the past 30+ days.

So one major thing that happened in September was I started a new job; a second job.
It's at a dog daycare and I absolutely love it. I love seeing all the different dogs, making bonds with the regulars, and just living the dream -- working with animals. Oh and there's a cat that lives there, his name is Winchester and he is apparently very photogenic.

Besides a daycare, we also provide boarding.
One of my favorite dogs that boarded was Reno (below). I kid you not, this dog HUGGED. She would just up, wrap her arms around you, and cinch her elbows. It was a legitimate hug and I still cannot get over it.

As much as I love working with all these other dogs, occasionally my dog, Tippy, gets jealous. But I think she's coming around to it somewhat, so long as I let her be a princess.
Attended an actual football game (the second one I've been to in my three years at school) with my dad. We didn't win, but I was happy to spend some time with my dad. Also it was "band day", or something like that, so the halftime show was pretty rad.
When I'm not working, or in class, occasionally I actually do have time to hang out with my roommates. This usually includes making dinner together, listening to Miley Pandora radio, binging on desserts (like cookie cake), and general shenanigans.
Midwest colleges = farm animals on campus.
This is me, and one of my roommates, with Lenny. Lenny was a four day old baby cow.
He was too adorable for words.

Among the chaos of the first full month of school, my boyfriend came to visit me. It was beyond perfect. We were limited on time, but it was honestly one of the best visits in my opinion. We ate Insomnia Cookies, found a snazzy sweater at Goodwill, went to see "The Giver", cooked homemade white-chicken chili, ate the sweetest carrot cake I've ever tasted, and, of course, watched plenty of Netflix.
September was full of beautiful weather. The sky was blue, the breeze was refreshing, and the fountains were on. I already miss sitting outside in between classes.
As an extra credit opportunity for my philosophy class, I attended a lecture in a series called "Dawn Or Doom". I can't say I'm very knowledgable on what the particular lecture I attended was about, I know it dealt with technology and sports, but amongst the lecture was this quote which I'm quite fond of.
Leaves around the apartment are already turning red.
The end of September was a rough one. I had 4 exams in one week, on top of working.
But, with lots of breathing, self assurance, and stress-relief candles, I was able to survive my first round of exams. And of the 3 that I have received the grades for, I seemed to make it out alright too.
The celebratory/consolatory pizza that my roommate and I rewarded ourselves with after our organic chemistry exam. We each had our own pizzas. It was both an awful and awesome night.
Not ready to see the campus squirrels leave for winter just yet.
After four chem labs, this is now my fifth, I have finally figured out how to dress so as to fulfill the requirements (long pants, t-shirt that covers chest/neck, no leggings, etc) and look somewhat fashionable as well. Hope no one minds me wearing this pant and boot combo every week.
Summer officially left us in September, which means goodbye, lemonade,
and hello, warm apple cider.
And finally, an ode to my dog.
She has kept me sane through this first month of school, and she shall keep me sane through the rest of the school year.

Here's to less than 8 more months of chaos.
