For a year now I have been subscribed to Julep's "Monthly Maven" program.
There have been many months in which I didn't feel thrilled by the colors, or months where I felt like I just didn't have the money, but this month I had to receive a box.
August's box was called "The Wanderlust Collection" and featured a series of different colors that would transition from summer to fall.
Say hello to jewel tones.
This month, like many months I have received before, I decided to go with the "Classic With A Twist". This box featured the two colors on the right, as well as the "Gel Eye Glider" which I chose to receive in the shade "Rich Brown". The color on the left, I added on for a small charge.
As you may have been able to guess, I was adamant about receiving this box because of the polish "Katie". While it is not technically my name, it's probably as close to a namesake polish as I will see. Not to mention, the shimmery orchid is just a gorgeous color. The other two colors "Avni" (purple) and "Waleska" (green/blue) were also just calling my name.
I've already worn "Waleska" once (to my cousin's wedding in early August), and I plan to wear "Katie", perhaps on my toes, soon.
Overall, I am so pleased with this months box, and I am looking forward to what the rest of Fall brings from Julep.
