||Day Seven||
Today marks the end of my first week of blogging, which I find commendable considering how easy it is for me to get distracted (especially when it comes to projects). But I am determined and excited to continue this.
This afternoon, as per my father's request, we were fortunate enough to switch rooms from a first floor "dune view" to a top floor partial beach view. And not only that, but instead of a standard room, we were upgraded to a suite.
After the excitement of switching rooms, we decided to hit the beach and enjoy the sunny Florida day. Though I spent my time reading under the shade of an umbrella, I'd forgotten how much I like being outside.
And even once we headed back to the room, I continued to read from the comfort of the balcony. I've gotten to a part in the book where I don't really want to put it down. In fact, right now I'm thinking about maybe getting in another chapter before I head to bed.
The evening wrapped up with dinner at a delicious, new Italian restaurant, listening to live music from a nearby restaurant from the balcony, and a late night "Friends" marathon.
Life is good.
