||Day Five||
After the past three days of excitement, I was treated to a semi-lazy day.
I slept in until noon, a first in a LONG time, and did a little shopping with my brother.
While shopping, I found the most adorable pair of shorts that will be perfect for relaxing on the beach this upcoming week.
The photo doesn't do them justice, but there are tiny elephants all over, and they are exceptionally comfortable. I am in love, and can't wait to wear them all summer.
When I got home I made myself a mango iced tea, which may be my newest addiction after having enjoyed it so many times at a local tea room. Not to mention how perfect it looks in a mason jar.
(And no, I don't care how cliche it is to drink out of a mason jar.)
And while I'm still on the topic of drinks, for dinner I made myself a blackberry lemonade that was just way to pretty to not take a picture. I take pride in my ability to appreciate the little moments of the day.
As my lazy day came to an end, I was forced to carry out the dreaded task of packing for my trip to Florida. Though I am absolutely ecstatic about the opportunity to go, as well as the promise of many chances to get in my photo-a-day, it is nearly impossible for a 20-year-old girl to pack over a week's worth of clothes in a carry-on. Thankfully, I took the time to plan out all of my outfits so as to not overpack, which I so often do.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to let myself relax until I am actually on my flight to Florida tomorrow. And even as I type this I am beginning to determine just how much sleep I will be able to get until I have to wake up and shower. It shall be a long day, but I am so ready.
