I don't really have a lot to say of today.
The day itself went by pretty quickly.
I woke up in the middle of a good dream to the sun shining in my window, and the heat taking over my entire being. Seriously. I love that the sun rises on "my side", but it makes the whole room feel like a sauna. At least then it's not hard to get out of bed.

As I said, the whole day was fairly typical.
Watching some Netflix, working out some (though not enough to make me feel accomplished), trying to get my dog to lay in the same room as me, etc.

One interesting (and I used the term "interesting" pretty loosely) thing I did today was that I made some detox water. I had tried making detox water once before. I made a whole pitcher of water with sliced up lemons, oranges, cucumbers, and mint leaves. But as the day went on, I started to feel not so great. By the next few days, I felt down right awful. I can't even fully explain what kind of sick I felt. I just remember feeling extremely weak, dizzy, and just in pain. One day I even had to have my roommate come pick me up off campus because I could barely walk to my next class. It was just terrible. And maybe it wasn't the actual detox water, maybe it was a coincidence, but I decided that the next time I tried it, it would not be during school.
This time, I only used lemons and oranges (I didn't really like how the cucumber or mint made it taste), and so far, so good. I felt a little risky drinking this, knowing I had work that night... and for the next week or two. Also, I've decided I'm only going to make a glass at a time instead of a pitcher, thinking maybe I left the fruit in the pitcher too long and they went bad which made me sick. It sounds tedious, but I've already sliced up my lemon and orange to make it easier.
I had work again tonight, and while I thought I was going to get off around 10:30 or 11:00, I actually got off just a little after 9:00. This worked out extremely well for me because tonight one of my roommates was coming home. After not seeing each other for a whole month it was nice to catch up, tell her my latest work stories, and just relax knowing that there was someone else to talk to.
Only 9 more days until we both start our junior year of college. How crazy is that?
♥K
