||Day Eighty-Five||
Today was a day of firsts.

{My first full day at my apartment}
I, surprisingly, woke up early this morning (around 8:30) despite having gone to bed at 3 am. At the slightest sign of my stirring, my dog is up and ready to start the day. So, I got up and did just that.

{My first day of completing all my workouts, since the wedding weekend}
I spent the majority of my morning catching up on Blogilates. I finished the workouts that I meant to do last night, completed the "Recovery Day" workouts that I technically missed Friday, and then started my workouts for today. After seven videos I decided to call it quits, get a shower, and go to the grocery store. By the time I got home and made a lunch it was already almost 2, and though I felt like I had been up for so long, I also felt like my day was dwindling by. But I told myself that this is still my summer and that I should enjoy life without so many obligations while I can.
 {My first day back at work/My first day training for a new position}
As excited as I was to get back into a routine, as well as make some money, I was also feeling apprehensive about going back to work. I knew that a lot of people I was friends with at work either no longer worked there, was on a leave for summer, or wasn't scheduled that night, so I was afraid I'd spend the whole night standing in silence. But it was actually the complete opposite of that. I started to learn some things about the job, read a lot of information, watched a thousand videos, and then followed up by taking many many quizzes. Though, after that part was over (2.5 hours later), I got to watch how a typical day on the job would go. And I really enjoyed it. I talked to a lot of the new people, who all seemed really friendly. It was just welcoming.
By the time my shift was up, however, I was so ready to be home. I needed comfy clothes and even comfier shoes ASAP. When I finally got into my apartment, after being greeted by the world's most polite dog, all I wanted to do was crash... but I needed something to eat.
I made a quick dinner, which was very reminiscent of all the meals I had after working until late in the evening during the school year -- a cheese quesadilla with salsa, pea pods, green peppers, carrots, and a cup of milk (something warm, something good for me, and something to keep me full).
Now I'm stuck in the limbo that is halfway between wanting to be productive and halfway just wanting to call it a day. Knowing me, I've still got a few hours in me. It certainly feels like I'm already falling back into my routine.
