||Day Eighty-Four||
It was another early morning for me. Woke up, packed the last of my things, made the bed, ate a cinnamon roll, then my mom and I loaded up the car and headed home.
I slept the whole way home, despite having had a considerate amount of sleep during the night, but at least it made the trip fly by quickly. I went ahead and gave myself a break because I was going to have to drive about the same distance later on.
When we got home, we quickly unloaded the car, then hopped back in to go pick the dogs up from the boarders. I love seeing how excited they get when they're being brought out to us. It's a look of pure happiness. Not to mention, they LOVE a good car ride.
Now that everyone was happy, we drove back home, ate a quick lunch, and then I got to packing the rest of my stuff so I could drive back to school as soon as possible. It wasn't even so much that I wanted to leave, but really just wanted to get the drive and the unpacking over with.
It didn't take too long to pack; I had already taken care of my clothes and a few boxes the night before the wedding. All I really had to do was throw some random things in boxes, bag up some food, and, of course, all of Tippy's things. My room looked so empty by the time I had everything out. It's weird to think that besides breaks, I won't be spending much time here. I love my room at home, from the color on the walls, to the plush carpet that I so desperately wanted all my life. I will miss it dearly.

Loading up the car was a hot job; the humidity outside was killer and I felt like I was playing Tetris with all my stuff. I didn't think that I had brought that much home, but I guess I was returning with a lot more. Honestly I was worried it wasn't all going to fit, especially with Tippy, but somehow my mom and I made it work. Finally, after many, many trips in and out of the house, I was ready to go. Tippy seemed pretty pumped as well.
Less than two hours and one CD catastrophe later (essentially I had to hit my brakes pretty hard and a bunch of my CDs flew out of my CD holder and onto the floor beneath my pedals) we had finally made it back. Tippy was most definitely ready to get out of the car and stretch her legs, but I was dreading carrying everything from my car up to my apartment. But I did it anyway. Tippy sort of helped. She always insisted on going outside with me, or else she'd scratch on the door every time I left, and one time she even so much as came down the stairs with me, but after that she seemed happy just to wait at the top of the stairs. After loading the car, unloading the car, carrying everything upstairs, and unpacking for the most part, I decided that the grocery store would have to wait and that a Totino's Party Pizza sounded like it would hit the spot. I don't know what it is about those things, but they are addicting.
My pizza break turned into a Netflix break, which turned into a three-or-so hour break. By that point I decided I should at least try to do my Blogilates workouts. After two of the five videos I stopped, not even out of exhaustion or pain, but there was a weird discomfort in my stomach. I'll try to finish the rest tomorrow morning. I'm kicking myself because I was on such a good streak with working out daily and eating well, and then this wedding weekend kind of set me back. But I need to get back on track before school starts, because that's when things will really get tricky.
My mind feels like it wants to keep going, keep unpacking, and keep working out, but my body is exhausted. There's something about a car trip that just tires me out. So to have two car trips in one day just makes me want to crawl into bed right now. Except for the load of laundry that still needs to be folded. Oh the joys of being a responsible adult.
