||Day Seventy-Eight||
Today was not particularly exciting.
I overslept. Scrambled to get out of bed before the clock struck 11. Contemplated making muffins for breakfast. Settled on cereal. Ate on the porch despite the sudden and rapid appearance of mosquitos.

Mom came home around lunch time. Fixed us both peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches. She left to go back to work and I left to go donate blood.
Arrived at the blood center. Was completely stunned at how urgently O- blood is needed, which is my blood type. Became even more determined to donate blood.
Despite my best efforts, I was 0.3 g/dL below for the required amount of hemoglobin. Immediately felt guilty for eating cheesecake and not eating spinach for dinner. Felt extra guilty since I have the blood that is so desperately needed.
Felt SUPER guilty when they still gave me movie tickets even though I didn't actually donate blood. Made a mental note to myself to go again sometime this week after loading up on iron.
Went to the bank to deposit a check. Went to Target to get paper towels and coffee, as per my mom's request. Came home to workout. Today was leg day on the Blogilates #giveityourALLGUST calendar. I killed it. Legs are my strength thanks to years of ice skating and dancing. I was able to push myself harder and stop a lot less.
Ended the night by watching "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with my mom and brother -- a classic tv show that we used to watch all the time when my brother and I were little -- then looking up funny animal videos on Youtube. I love my family and these easy summer nights.
