It is very much past June.
So much past that it's already mid-July.
But I wanted to start making "Favorites" blog posts for each month, and, as they say, "there's no time like the present". I plan to also vary the categories with the month, so that I'm not too tied down to finding new favorites of these every time.
Without further ado, here's what I was loving this past June.

{Food}
Krave Cereal.
I've had this cereal before, I used to get the individual cups at the On-The-Go places at school. And I liked it then, but I didn't start to love it until this summer. My brother had brought some home from his apartment at school and was just raving about it. Normally I stick to more "healthy" cereals (or rather, cereals I feel less guilty about) such as Frosted Mini Wheats. But for some reason I decided to try this. I've had a bowl of it pretty much every day of June, and even up until mid July.

Canisters
I'm always trying to find ways to be more efficient, and one way I did so this month was by purchasing these canisters. I got mine from Meijer, this set of four was around $25-30. But they seem to be good quality, and I think they add some flair to our lackluster kitchen at my school apartment. They make things feel a little more homey. From left to right they contain: flour, sugar, brown sugar, and powdered sugar. It also helped to clear out a shelf in one of our cabinets, so win-win in my book.

{Nail Polish}
Julep's "Laree"
Anyone that knows me knows that I have an obsession, maybe even a problem, with buying nail polish. But sometimes the nail polish I buy doesn't live up to my expectations. This one, however, goes above an beyond. It's a shimmery pinkish-coral with a slight iridescence. It looked so great, I kept it on until it was chipped to death, which is very unlike me. I've been buying Julep polishes for a while (I subscribe to their Julep Maven program where you get a monthly box), and this particular polish is worth the hype.
{Random}
Aspercreme
This, for me, is literally a life changing product. I get a LOT of headaches, and the majority of these headaches stem from back/neck pain. Sometimes there isn't even much I can do about it, I try sitting up straight, doing exercises, but I have inherited my mother's bad neck, so the best I can do is find ways to live with it. So, my mom showed me this. It's pretty self explanatory. It's a creme that you rub/massage onto the aching parts of your body (which is my neck) and it's just like instant relief. Normally when I would get a headache, I would just take an Excedrin and be done. But Excedrin contains aspirin and caffeine, both of which can have negative effects, so to find something topical that gets right to the epicenter of pain was a godsend. So if you have neck pain, back pain, or really any kind of pain I'm pretty sure, get this stuff right now.

Goodreads
Lastly, I have been absolutely OBSESSED with Goodreads. I'll even admit that this has become my new favorite form of social media. This site helps you find books that you may be interested in reading, it helps you track books that you've read, and can also keep a running list of books that you want to read. For someone who is a list-maker, this site is great. I've literally spent hours on this site just finding tons and tons of books. I don't even know how I'll get to read them all, but I'm certainly going to try. If you're into books, definitely check this website out, and if you're interested in the books I've been reading (mostly teen fic, as well as other fiction) you can check out my Goodreads, also. Maybe you'll find a book that catches your eye.

That wraps up my June favorites. I'm already planning out my July favorites, so here's hoping I can make that post before mid-August.
